What do I say? Sound as infomercial? may be yes but these are just of few great features of VYL that work for me and may be if I say all I use they could make me other charges ha ha ha. I could say that VYL is not a service it is a experience. VYL have simplified my life in a comunication sense and financial too ;). I have saved a lot money. Even when I tech guy visit me as the internet guy or friend of me with a high tech, just one word leave their mouths after see my VYL Media service "SWEET"
And another star nor less important is the client service by phone or forum is really amazing. This is a top secret: In forum you can find others features nor mentioned in VYL web page, it is as a video game where you can find ways to pass next level. really really amazing

Just wanted to let you know that, as a customer who has two VYL Media home phones in two different states, I appreciate the good service I got from tech support over the past several hours. First, the waiting time for tech support is short; second, all of the employees were courteous; third, I solved the problem I was having with my phones.
The problem was, while the phones in my house were working, they were not ringing. Fortunately, the tech support person I talked with this A.M. (Lana) diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. Turns out, the "voltage" setting to the ringer was turned off (I think I am correct in this). Also, the person I talked with the previous evening, was extremely patient and had written up a ticket on the issue which made it possible for me to skip over some of the solutions to the problem that we had already tried. Great continuity.
Anyway, it is nice to be able to continue to work on a problem until it is fixed without someone venturing a hypothesis regarding an issue that locates the problem outside the tech support office, and in effect, shifting the responsibility for trouble-shooting the problem onto the customer.
I have rarely had customer service that is so good. 5-Stars, in my opinion.

Message: I started service over a year ago and LOVE the fact that it is easy on my pocket. With the economy continuously getting worse I can relax knowing my bill will never change. My two favorite features are the number blocking feature and the forwarding feature. I spend a lot of time away from home as a single mother of 3 and knowing I will NEVER miss an important call even when I am on the go is fabulous. I love that you get two free virtual numbers, features for which others charge extra, so my relatives in other towns can call me on my VYL line without their having to pay long distance, even though we live far apart. The service is so dependable I rarely need help, but when I do call, they answer right away and speak native English! They resolved my problem, then called me the next day to make sure everything was working right. When you're this good you don't need to lock your customers in with a contract.

Message: I have used the service for almost 3 years now. Any time I call their offices they answer promptly and with a live person. In all the time I have used their service I have only had to call them twice for a support question, which is much better than my sisters track record with her VOIP provider in her first 6 months.
Of the two times I have called my issue was taken care of promptly and at no additional expense. The customer support lines are open 24/7, they are answered by friendly, English-speaking people, and they are thorough with their support but never condescending.
I talked with many other companies when I was choosing a VOIP provider, not one of the other companies I spoke with could offer everything VYLmedia does without sacrificing something somewhere. The closest I found had tech support that was only open for 8 hours a day and only on weekdays and many of their features were still being beta tested and were prone to buggy performance.
I think for my money I like having the option to call the support number any time a problem arises, although it is very rare. I want my features to work when I use them without excuses that they are in beta and are not guaranteed to work. VYLmedia does that for me, without any hassles or a fluctuating bill. With all that they offer I don't see myself going anywhere else for my VOIP service.
Good job on a great service, VYLmedia. You are the standard by which other services should measure themselves.

Message: The most noticeable difference when dealing with VYL is that your call is answered by a human within 3 rings- No automated voice messages (within business hours), No options to choose from and No hold time. The rare issue a customer may have is resolved almost immediately and the customer service is outstanding. This is what one would expect in the service sector, but very rare to find.

Message: VYL has tirelessly worked with me in configuring my network to support VoIP correctly. They have assisted in the configuration and development of the QoS of my internet and VoIP routers! They have also assisted me in developing and implementing an international communications process which assisted my daughter while in Israel and Greece.
I have used my VYL media VoIP service all around the globe. I currently have 3 lines with them and this allows me to call home from anywhere in the world and talk to my family for the cost of an internet connection. I have integrated this service with my cell phones which while on international travel has saved me thousands in communication costs. I am looking forward to working with VYL’s technical resources to incorporate video as well.
I have also been able to work with VYL to utilize a separate VoIP router at my temporary locations around the globe (long period stays) to establish a VoIP connectivity in many locations. This allows me to have a local phone number while utilizing the service to communicate as a local back home for weeks and months.
This service has and continues to be the cornerstone of my business and personal communications.

I researched for a few days until I narrowed it down to VYL. The range of services, cost and customer reviews topped the others and now I know why. Setting it up was quick and easy. I have made a couple of support calls over the years and I always get connected to a live person and get my issues resolved quickly, professionally and always with good cheer. Their customer service is unbelievable - they actually *answer* the phone when you call them for help, sometimes even on the very first ring! Everyone there is so helpful and will help you set up your system in a really short amount of time. The pricing cannot be beat and the call quality is fantastic. No one I call even realizes that I use VOIP when they speak with me unless I tell them (not to mention I get a ton of compliments on the snazzy free hold music). I have turned my other family members onto VYLmedia and they too are thrilled. I am a customer for life and look forward to signing on to the other products they plan to roll out in the future. Any service issue has been resolve to my satisfaction with in 1-2 days. I have waited 1-2 weeks in the past for my former phone service just to begin to resolve any serivce issues I had. Instead, I'd like to praise this company for NOT doing the terrible things that every other telephone company does: Firstly, VYL does NOT make me wait on hold for 30 minutes, only to have some computer pick up and say that the wait time is a mere 5 minutes. Second, VYL wisely refrains from flooding my mailbox with countless "statements," "updates," and "promotions." Thirdly, VYL does NOT force me to sign a three-year contract in order to receive the best rates. Fourth, when speaking to a VYL representative, that person does NOT avoid doing their job by transferring my call to a different department. Lastly, VYL is NOT in the business of providing the lowest quality service for the maximum amount of profits. I will never go back; I will never settle for anything but the best. And VYL is the best. Message: In early 2007, I switched to VYLMedia (Formerly VOIPyourlife) from Vonage. Vonage advertised a flat 24.99/month with free local and long distance, but very few other options. Every bill we received from Vonage seemed to have an additional 20+ dollars in charges for different "fees" and "taxes". When we switched to VYLMedia, we received the VOIP unit the next day. It took almost a week to get the number ported over from Vonage, as Vonage kept "ignoring" the requests to release the number. The amount of features that come with the VYLMedia plan are incredible! The voice quality is the best I have ever heard. About 6 months ago we started having issues with dropped calls, and what appeared to be outages lasting up to several hours where we could receive calls, but could not make them. The 2nd call to tech support reached a Tech named Alex. He saw what was happening, but my VOIP box wouldn't respond to provisioning commands remotely. He personally overnighted me a new VOIP unit that he pre-configured before he sent it. The quality of the calls on the new unit were even better than the old one, but the second line was not provisioned on the new box. One call to Alex, and he walked me thru the settings to get the second line running, as he disabled remote provisioning to ensure the settings would not be changed remotely. I have had nothing but Flawless, crystal clear service since.
You will NEVER see this kind of service from any of the bigger companies. At VYLMedia, every customer is a real person, and not just a revenue generating number.
Kudos to VYLMedia for keeping the small business personal ethic, while providing WONDERFUL service. I highly recommend VYLMedia to everyone, and will *NEVER* go back to another big company again.

I have been with VYL now for going on four years, and whenever I have called VYL, the first thing that really struck me was that there has always been a real person who answered the phone. Whomever has been on the other end of the line has always been courteous and prompt in answering my questions, or referring me to tech support.
Since I live in Canada, and need to call people from coast to coast to coast there have been some routing problems; I was honestly surprised at how promptly my concerns were dealt with; the issues were taken seriously, and resolved very quickly.
The reason I switched was because I was so tired of having to deal with a Big Communication Company where the one is passed from department to department, and the issue never getting resolved, but leaves the customer feeling frustrated and ignored. I had had enough, and researched which VOIP company to go with. VYL seemed to get the best customer feedback, and I have not looked back since. I tell all my friends to say goodbye to the Big Communications Companies and give VYL a try-they almost seem too good to be true!

Message: I initially chose VYL because it was less expensive than Vonage but, more importantly, the technical support was based right here in the U.S. When you call the help line, you get a real person who truly is empowered to help you - not read a script and transfer you around.
The reason I stay, even after regularly receiving solications to switch to providers such as Comcast or AT&T or to go back to Vonage, is the great customer service and reliable telephone service. I get a website that displays my incoming and outgoing calls, and I can even block those pesty telemarketers. And all of this is provided at a price that can't be beat.

It has been extremely reliable service with customer service people that put all of the conventional landline and cell providers to absolute shame. Message: VOIPLY is the best! I had Vonage for a year. They tried to charge me for a new adaptor when the old one died. Then they wouldnt cancel my service as ordered! They kept charging my credit card without authorization! I had to actually call the police department in Voorhies New Jersey to report them and get them to stop trying to charge me! VOIPYL has been a breath of fresh air. I wouldnt change service to save a few dollars. I have had to call 4 or 5 times (usualluy to give anew credit card number), and every time a REAL PERSON has answered the call within 2 or 3 rings!!! No menu's! That's service! I get personal service at a great price for a great service. I will never change unless VOIPYL does!

Message: We have had VYLmedia for over 3 years and it is the perfect phone company. We have a home in Massachusetts and Florida. We had two other Voip services and cable service. This is the best, The least expensive, and the most convenient. We have two telephone numbers (one in Florida and one in Massachusetts). We never have to change our number, worry about connecting and disconnecting or paying for all these extra costs.
Our friends can call either number any time without exra cost or call forwarding. The free extra services are excellent and easy to use. We use call blocking, call forwarding to our cell phones, and the excellent internet message service
