Bridging LAN port

Hello,
A couple of questions.
I do not want NAT functionality on my LAN port of my Linksys SPA 2102 and I changed it to bridge with a different LAN IP address suitable to my local area network...it worked fine, but when I powered down and back up the settings reverted back to original.

As well, the new password I gave it reverted back to "admin"...

Is there a reason for this, and can I make changes to this thing without going through Tech support?

Oh...and of course I wanted to turn off the DHCP server since I have one already, but this as well reverted back on power down/up.

It sure makes the LAN side pretty useless to me as it is...
