Hello,

We are looking to purchase VOIPYourLife Service and want to use our current D-Link WBR-2310 Wireless Router, but have been told it has to be "unlocked" to work. We are also planning on using our current analog telephones.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I reviewed that router and it appears to be a normal function router. It shouldn't be a problem and you wouldn't have to unlock your router.

Now if you're bringing your own phone adapter to our service, that does require an unlocked device so you can configure the settings to us. But we do provide hardware free of charge that will allow you to use our service.

I hope this information helps clear it up, please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,

Allen

Hello,

Thank you for the response! So, that means I could sign up for the service. Use all of your equipment that you send me, in combination with my router and "plug in" and go? Would there be any type of configuration needed?

That's correct! It won't pose any problems.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks,
