Are there any plans to implement a system that automatically forwards your calls to the number you've listed when the internet goes down? I think I called a while ago and someone said that the system does this but it can sometimes take up to an hour before it's updated to know that your internet provider is down. Other providers I've been with have done this automatically and immediately - even if there was only a small blip in the internet. I REALLY liked that!

Thanks,
Rick

Rick,

Thank you for the suggestion! We have looked at ways to implement this in the past. We do not have an ETA for something like this, but would like to see it added to our list of features. We will submit this suggestion to our engineering team.

Thanks,

Gary

Can one of the moderators provide an update on this? This sounds like an important feature to have. Is it on the list of future enhancements? If so, what's the ETA??

Thanks!

John

John,

It is currently being reviewed by our engineering team to see if we can implement it but there is no ETA as of yet.

Thanks,

Allen

Hopefully this helps you. I set find me follow me to ring simultaneously to my "landline" that I have as a backup with basic service. I unplugged the SPA 2102 to test it and the land line will ring when the SPA 2102 is unplugged, so unless I am misunderstanding the technology or your question this should be a viable option for providing redundancy in the event that a location loses power and / or internet connection.

After today's extended outage, this would have been a very good feature to have. Your web site was also hit, so I had to phone tech. support and get them to manually load the change for me.

Thanks for your consideration of this request. Hopefully it will become a reality sooner rather than later.
