View Full Version : How to set up virtual numbers?

I understand the service i signed up for includes 2 virtual numbers but I do not see any option in the control panel to enable and choose virtual numbers.
Also is there any way to determine which number a caller dialed to get to me (ie virtual number or primary number)?

In your control panel you can select a virtual number by clicking the 'My Account' tab. Once there, there will be a little link that says 'Order another remote virtual number'. Click that link and it will have all the area codes we have available. Find the destination you're looking for and it will automatically assign the last four digits for you.
If you would like to be able to tell which number they are dialing to reach you, we have a feature called 'DNIS Over ANI'. What this feature does is replace your normal CallerID and instead it will show whichever number the party dialed to reach you. Furthermore, your Call Activity tab will show which number they dialed to reach you as well, but only after the call is completed.
