View Full Version : Incoming calls OK, outgoing gets cut off...

Before I call for support, I thought I would throw up a post on this. I can make outgoing calls, a while back my adapter went bad, and VYL techs finally broke down and sent me a new one. Now, I get incoming calls just fine, but outgoing lasts about 5 minutes or so. Any suggestions?

Outbound calls that experience problems could be related to two things.
One, it's possible how we are routing your calls is having an issue which our technical support team will be able to help with. The other would be a firewall issue. Sometimes a router or firewall will actually drop the communication between the adapter which is behind the firewall, and our own server. As soon as the communication is dropped on the internet side, the call will drop.
Are any and all of your outbound calls dropping? Have you noticed any pattern, maybe certain areas you're calling?
