I'm having intermittent problems where my caller ID works for a while, then it stops working for a longer while. Then, for some unknown reason, it will come back...for a little while anyway.

I've tried power cycling from just the VOIP modem, to the whole system. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. I've let this slack for too long and now I wish it to work again. Please help.

Thanks!

PS: Love VYL, btw. The best thing we've ever done to save money and still have a viable phone service.

That's great to hear! I hope you're even more excited to hear about an upgraded service I'd like for you take advantage of.

I would recommend checking out this thread for more information on our new upgraded service we are offering. On our newer service, we can provide CallerID with more consistency, this includes inbound and outbound calling.

Upgrade to 1-VoIP (http://www.vylmedia.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3476#post3476)

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks,

Allen

Before I make the switch, I have 2 numbers that go through the one voip modem. The other number has it's own account name and password, etc.

Do I list the second number as the virtual number? Or do I do the switchover twice?

Thanks for your time.

I'm trying to update the two accounts I have linked to our router. (one is mine, the other is my mother-in-laws).

I clicked, updated the E-911 for both accounts. Now I'm trying to configure the router (do i need to do this twice for each account number?). However, it won't recognize any of the preset passwords I put in.

Help?

Thanks!

If you are at the step "Update Adapter" and it asks for a password, it will actually be a different password than the one you use for your login. If you are having difficulties with this, give our 1-VoIP support number a call at 888-661-8647 and we can help you with that right away!

You can also email us at support@1-voip.com with your account information and we can take a look into it as well.

Please keep me posted.

Thanks,

Allen
