Hello. Does anyone know how I can hard-code my local area code prefix so that I don't have to dial it for local calls? Thanks so much.

There is an option on the web site under My Features that allows you to do four or seven digit dialing. It's called Short Digit Dial, and it's disabled by default.

Thanks, I had tried that but it still doesn't allow me to make local calls without putting in the area code first. I had used another provider where this wasn't a problem, so I know it can be done.

If you have access to the ATA, you can always change the dial string to do whatever you want it to do. Other than that, there is nothing more that you can do. The people at VoipYourLife are very helpful and will work hard to solve your problem, though, so call their support. :)
