I am in a bit of a bind...

When I signed on with VoIPYourLife last week, I decided to port my primary phone number as well. This number currently has my DSL through AT&T, and I realize that it will stop working when the port is complete. The good thing is that AT&T was forced to provide naked DSL, so I called to order it today.

They dropped a bomb on me -- it can't be installed until September 10th! If my port request goes through in 2-3 weeks, that still leaves me a few weeks without an Internet connection or phone.

Is there any way to delay the port request until September 9th or something like that?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

There is no way to delay a port request for us. The port date is provided to us by the other carrier.

My recommended step is to fully cancel the port request and initiate the new request probably at the end of August. You will be required to provide updated documents at that time since they need to be within 30 days, but this way you won't experience any service interruption.

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have any additional questions or comments, or need any clarification.

Thanks,

Allen
