Music - while on hold

I called customer service (CS) regarding no music playing when we put someone on hold. CS transferred me to Technical Support (TS). TS was very polite, kind, but did not have a solution.

Has anyone seen any info on how to set up or troubleshoot music when they have someone on hold?

Well that's odd.. Our Music on Hold is controlled by a server so it's not something anyone can help troubleshoot. We will definitely have to take a look at it, do you mind PM'ing me your username or primary phone number and any other symptoms you've noticed about this problem?

Are you using a hold button on your phone? Generally the hold button on an analog phone just mutes the ear and mouth piece on the phone. The hold music from our service plays when a SIP hold message is received. For example if you answer a call waiting call, the original caller will hear hold music.
