Outgoing Caller ID?

Not really 'trouble', per se, but...

Is our outgoing caller ID profile something we can alter? Since this is a new land line for us, we're trying not to scare off friendlies when we call, as right now it shows up as something very corporateish.

Can we change SIP INVITE "From" header to achieve this?

You can change your outbound callerID to any number associated with your account from the My Features tab after logging into your account at http://admin.voipyourlife.com

We don't allow spoofing caller IDs. The callerID name and number in the invite message will be ignored.

My Caller id is showing as private. I looked at my settings in the member control panel and my caller id is set to the number I want. Is there a way to fix this? Few of my friends have there phones to not accept private calls so we can't get in touch with them.

It should not show up as private unless you have caller id blocking enabled. You might check it under the My Features tab. If that doesn;t take care of it, you'll want to report it to tech support. The number may not have been set up correctly.
